Agmal Arabians started with a a passion for Arabians that was passed from my father to me ,Liezl Els ,a very long time ago.I can remember sitting on his knee and looking through countless paper and magazine clippings he had gathered over many years and saved in a scrap book.
I was hooked and ended up owning and leasing a couple of geldings over the years.

As a stud farm Agmal Arabians started with a wedding gift from Jay ,Sigi and Janina Constanti , Om EL Arab in December 1998. Ernie was thrown into the deep end with this,but as we were newlyweds,so he couldn't complain!

Janina presented us with a scroll that had the pedigree of Om El Safir on it.He was our wedding gift and the start of  Agmal Arabians.

Safir turned into a lovely stallion.He was exported to South Africa to stand with Paulene and Gerhard du Plessis.There he has been used successfully on their broodmare band with the idea of  breeding Endurance horses.

Soon after followed the purchase of a lovely Padron Psyche daughter,DR Rosa Psyche.She is our foundation mare and has been an amazing producer for me over the years.

Today the horses of Agmal Arabians are spread around the world,South Africa,United States and Belguim.
